My floral career began in college as seasonal help—counting the number of Rod Stewart songs playing overhead and doing my best not to break any vases.
What started as a short-term job quickly grew into regular part-time work and, after graduation, into full-time design and management.
In 2016, I planted the roots of my own business, Fancy Plants Flowers and Design, building on nearly a decade of hands-on experience and industry knowledge. Since then, Fancy Plants has grown into a team dedicated to full-service floral design for weddings and events.
The floral industry has given me the freedom to continually grow, learn, and create. Along the way, it has also brought meaningful relationships and lasting friendships that I value just as much as the work itself.
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me with my husband and kids—coffee in hand and likely telling a terrible joke.
